Printhead Mechanical Design Engineer

Quantica is looking for talented, enthusiastic and rigorous mechanical design engineers (intermediate and senior levels) to join the Printhead development team to deliver innovative and high quality leading-edge solutions using Quantica's proprietary ultra high viscosity inkjet technology for the 3D Printing Industry.

• Design and development of high precision mechanical components and/or assemblies, from concept to market introduction through a complete New Product Development (NPD) Program Life Cycle (PLC)
• Close multidisciplinary team work and collaboration with other teams in the definition of internal and external interfaces and/or integration of components, such as printhead datuming and latching, fluidic and electrical connections, PCBs integration, etc...
• Responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of the solution and the precise location of the printhead components.
• Close work and collaboration with external partners and vendors to help identify the best manufacturing technology and assembly process for the successful printhead industrialization
• Delivery of high quality design and validation documentation as part of building the knowledge base and best practices

• Bachelor, Master or above degree in any mechanical engineering related discipline
• Previous experience in a similar position for serial product design and development
• Completion of at least one or more NPD PLC in that role will be valued.
